Prior to being the
secretary at the high school since 1996, I worked for Wamic
School, USDA Forest Service, and Mountain Fir Lumber Company
in Tygh Valley, Maupin, and The Dalles. I began working for
the school district in 1986 as the deputy clerk at the Tygh
Valley Grade School and came to work at South Wasco County
when the districts merged. the high school about 5 years
ago. I am the advisor for the International Culture Club,
and the co-advisor for Academics. She has had two exchange
students live with her and has had the privilege of
supervising 33 students over the past 15 years through the
EF program. Delayne now lives
in Tygh Valley with her husband Gus. In my spare time, I
Loves going to yard sales, and thrift shops. She also works
in Shaniko at her mom's antique and collectible shop called
"Ghosts form the Past". Delayne is an avid collector and her
collections include: Coca Cola memorables, giraffes, wooden
spools from textile mills, procelain shoes, Madam Alexander
dolls and Roseville pottery. Because of
Delayne's involvement with the EF program, she has been able
to travle to Hawaii, Florida, and Minnesota. For fun she has
travled to Boston, New orleans, and
Norway. We love you,
