                      SCHOLARSHIP

Requirements

1. Applicant must be a graduate of South Wasco
County High School and have attended the high school for two years. 

2. Recipient must be planning to attend or 
attending a public or private, community or four year college with a goal of obtaining a four year degree.  If applicant is attending a community college, he/she must be taking college credit classes.
          
3. Recipient must enroll in and complete a minimum of 12 quarter credit hours or 12 semester hours.  Recipient must also have maintained a minimum 3.0 G.P.A. at both the high school level and at college.

4. The completed application must be received by Mark Malefyt on or before May 1, 2008.

5. The $500 award will be granted to one qualified recipient.  If there are no qualified applicants, no award will be given.

6. Payment shall be made by the SWEA at the beginning of the second term or semester provided the recipient has met the credit and the grade requirement in the preceding term or semester.  A grade card or transcript must be sent to the South Wasco County School Staff Scholarship Committee prior to any payment.
