Joe Schable is the transportation coordinator of South Wasco County School District #1. In short description of his job; he coordinates the school's transportation. To be a little more specific, well briefly,
He is the Transportation Coordinator and as such is responsible for the operation of:
1. The system that gets students from home to school and back.
2. The system that gets competitors to sporting events and back.
3. The system that makes sure that the vehicles are mechanically sound and maintained
4. The system that is in place to train driver's to be competent and safe in operate the vehicles
5. The system that ensures that we are in compliance with and abreast of all the changes with all of the regulations necessary to operate
6. The system that initiates bus stops and makes sure that they are safe for students in accordance with all the regulationss.
