SWCSD Families ~ we are still hosting our watch party for the Lady Redsides State Basketball playoff game against Jordan Valley tonight Feb 24 in the High School Gym. If you feel safe driving to the school, doors will open at 4:30pm for the 5:00pm game. We will provide the popcorn/water, you bring your own snacks/sodas and chair if you do not want to sit on the bleachers. Go Big Green!

The Lady Redsides Round 2 State Championship Playoff game will be played at Jordan Valley on Friday, February 24th. The 6:00pm time is mountain time, so it actually starts 5:00pm our time. The game will be broadcast on NHFS, so keep that in mind if you are planning on watching! Go Redsides!

They will now play in Round 2 of the State Championship playoffs and will be traveling to Jordan Valley to play on Friday February 24th at 6:00pm. Go if you can and watch and cheer them on! Congratulations to both our Redsides Basketball teams who played at the District 1-A6 Basketball tourney in the Dalles on Saturday Feb 18th~ Lady Redsides came in 3rd place by winning their game against Ione/Arlington Cardinals and our Boys Redsides team came in 1st place after winning their game against Spray/Mitchell/Wheeler Rattlers. Way to go Redsides! We are so proud of you!
SWCSD would like to remind you that tomorrow Wed Feb 15th is Exclusion Day. If you received a phone call from us or a notice from the Health Department that your child needs to have their booster shots, they cannot come to school starting tomorrow until they receive their vaccine or you have opted out through the Health Department on line. Until further notice the following Tygh Valley Bus Route Change is in effect: Tygh Valley Routes will have later than normal pickup times: Delco, Tygh Store, Tygh PO, St. Charles St, TVCC, Cemetery Rd, Davis Shows, Gago will be approx 10 mins late. 7:50 Tygh Ridge Ranch; 7:55 Shadybrook; 8:00 Fred Ashley Rd; 8:05 Larsell. Shaniko Route will be on time. Antelope route expect a phone call. MS and HS basketball games will have transportation.
SWCSD regrets to inform you that the ODE paperwork required to drive our school buses did not get processed before the end of the day today. Tomorrow Wed Feb 8th will now be a NO SCHOOL day for PK-8th grades and a DIGITAL DAY for 9-12th grades. We sincerely apologize but look forward to seeing all students in school on Thurs Feb 9th.

SWCSD Important Message Update: Tomorrow Tues Feb 7th will be a regular closure day for PK-8th grade. Only the High School 9-12th Grade will have a digital school day.
SWCSD Important Message: Due to a misunderstanding between our Transportation Dept & Ore Dept of Education, the district is unable to run bus routes until our drivers are retested. The problem is being remedied and drivers will be able to drive again on Wed, Feb. 8th. Tomorrow, the district will need to call a digital day for all students. We apologize for the inconvenience this is causing families. Students please check your email first thing tomorrow for your assignments.

SWC High School Basketball home game tomorrow Tues Feb 7th against Trout Lake will now start at 6:00pm as there will be NO JV games, only Varsity will be playing. Girls Varsity play at 6:00pm and Boys Varsity play at 7:30pm. See you at the game! Go Redsides!
