Our children’s safety starts the moment they head to the bus stop.
Please remember these critical rules when you see a school bus on the road:
Always stop when the red lights flash and the stop arm is extended.
Both directions must stop on undivided roads—no exceptions!
Watch for children walking near bus stops, loading, or unloading.
Put distractions away and slow down in school zones and neighborhoods.
A few extra seconds of patience can save a life. Let's keep our kids safe together!

📚 **Peer Tutoring in Action!**
Our middle school students have been helping our 2nd and 3rd graders strengthen their math skills! From regrouping in addition and subtraction to practicing multiplication and division, our students are learning together and supporting one another.

Our middle school artists have been getting creative with Tim Burton-inspired self-portraits! Students explored unique styles, imaginative details, and expressive features to create their own one-of-a-kind artwork.

🔬⚛️ 6th Grade Science in Action! ⚛️🎨
Our 6th graders are exploring the periodic table with their “Name That Element Choice Board!" Students get to choose from 9 different activities to show off their learning and creativity.
Some of the most popular choices include building a 3D model of an element, creating element-inspired artwork, making a vocabulary book, and designing a comic strip! 📚🖍️
We love seeing our students learn about science in creative and hands-on ways! Way to go, 6th graders! 👏💚💛

SWC Middle/High School would like to invite families to our Academic Awards Assembly recognizing students who earned Honorable Mention, Honor Roll, High Honors and 95% or better attendance for the second semester of the 2025-26 school year. This will be held on Monday, October 26th at 11:20am in the High School Gym. We will also be streaming this assembly on our school Facebook page for families who cannot make it to the assembly in person. We look forward seeing you all there!
