This is an incredible opportunity for students to explore new places, experience different cultures, and gain lifelong skills like independence and confidence. I’ll be sharing all the details, including what we’ll see and do, hands-on learning activities, academic opportunities, trip costs, and how to secure a spot at our informational meeting.

SWCSD would like to remind you about the 2025 Summer EBT Nutrition Program for Kids that helps kids eat healthy when school is out for summer. Kids who qualify get $120 in benefits to buy groceries. Learn more about this benefit at sebt.oregon.gov.

SWCSD would like to remind our Grade School/Middle School parents/guardians of students who have medication at school to please come pick it up on the last day of school, this Friday May 30th at 1:18pm. Thank you!

Congratulations to the 8th grade students who celebrated being promoted to high school last night.

The seniors completed their signing ceremony as part of the spring awards tonight. We are proud of this class and know they are off to accomplish great things.


It’s a sweet end of the school year for the chemistry students, who are using their understanding of intermolecular forces to design and manufacturer of their own candies.



SWCSD would like to remind you that tonight, May 27th is 8th Grade Promotion in the Old Grade School Gym starting at 5:30pm. See you all there!

SWCSD would like to remind you that tonight, May 27th, is the High School Spring Awards ceremony starting at 7:00pm in the High School Gym. We will be honoring not only our Senior Class of 2025 but all High School Academic students and Track Athletes. See you all there!

SWCSD would like to let you know that there are NO activity buses running this last week of school May 27-30th.

Great job to Mr. Hansen's music students and 5th grade band last night, as well as Ms. Wills' piano students who performed in a recital.







SWCSD would like to remind you that tonight Thur May 22nd @ 6:00pm is the Spring Music Concert. Please have your elementary students delivered to their classrooms between 5:30-5:45pm. Thank you!

Congratulations to Ryker Thompson (8th grade), Ian Pechanec (8th grade), and Lane Delco (7th grade) for qualifying to compete in the Meet of Champions in Corvallis, OR last Friday, May 16. Ryker competed in the 100 m hurdles, Ian in javelin, and Lane in the discus. Way to represent SWC boys!
