GORGE SOCCER’S YOUTH FALL LEAGUE IN THE DALLES REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

Due to a price increase in league soccer jerseys, the cost of the Gorge Soccer Fall league will increase on June 6th. We are being allowed to do one more jersey order before the cost increase takes effect.

Limited scholarship is available, and is awarded on a first ask basis. Reply to this email and ask for available scholarship, or text message / call Gorge Soccer.

This league will start in September after teams are formed during the summer and assigned volunteer coaches.

If signing up for either the 5/6 or 7/8 grade travel league age groups, please sign up for the grade your child will be entering next year (not their current grade).

Debido a un aumento de precios en las camisetas de fútbol de la liga, el costo de la liga de otoño de Gorge Soccer aumentará el 6 de Junio. Se nos permite hacer un pedido más de camisetas antes de que el aumento de costos entre en vigor.

Esta liga comenzará en septiembre después de que se formen los equipos durante el verano y se les asignen entrenadores voluntarios.

We had four high school athletes make it to state in track and two of those athletes received medals! Bailey Udey, a four time state athlete, medaled in the high jump 7th place and the triple jump 4th place. Gabe received two medals competing for the first time at the state meet with 4th place in the para athlete 100 and 4th place in the short put. Jason had some amazing times in both hurdles and was just shy of making finals. Ryker was the only freshman to complete in the triple jump at the state meet and represented SWC well placing 13th with a 39 foot jump. Way to go Redsides!

Congratulations Class of 2026! Graduation on Sunday May 31st was a great success with all 29 students graduating, Brody Myers performing an "electrifying" version of the Star Spangled Banner while guest speaker Yancy Wells entertained everyone with his oration! Thank you everyone who came and supported our graduating Class of 2026!

Don't forget that High School Graduation is this SUNDAY MAY 31st at 10:00am in the New Gym! We hope to see you all there as we cheer on our Class of 2026 and all their hard work to get to their graduation day!

SWCSD would like to remind everyone that this Friday, May 29th is the last day of school and it is an Early Release day where students will be released at 1:18pm! Hope you all have a very fun and safe Summer Vacation 2026!

The middle school track awards today (May 27th) has been moved to the HS Gym.

Hello Everyone! Please join the Class of 2026 for their Pre-Graduation Celebration at Kaiser Park (The Greenway) on Saturday May 30th at 10:30am. We hope to see you all there!

SWCSD would like to let you know that there is NO After School Program (ASP) today Tues May 19th.

SWCSD would like to remind everyone that tomorrow Tuesday May 19th is our K-5 Spring Music Program along with the Middle/High School Piano Class recital starting at 6:00pm in the Old Historic Grade School Gym. Performers need to be in their classrooms between 5:30-5:45pm. Please come and support our music program and watch our talented students perform! Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

SWCSD would like to remind all our school families that due to rising costs and declining enrollment the district will be taking two furlough days on June 1st and 2nd. This will now make the last day of school for students May 29, 2026. Thank you for your understanding as we navigate these budgetary challenges.

The EMR class had their final practical exams today! They had to run through a total of 8 scenarios that they might encounter while going out on a 911 call.

What a season for SWC Middle School Track & Field!
Please join us for our end of the season awards on Wednesday, May 27th at 3:45 p.m. in the new grade school gym.

Special recognition to these students who broke the middle school record this season.
Jacob Wiedmen - Shot Put 37’6”and High Jump 5’2”
Lane Delco- Discus 133’10”
Luci Nordquist- 100 Meters 13.53, High Jump 4’10”, Long Jump 16’ 1.75”, Triple Jump 31’ 7.5”

We also currently have 2 athletes, Lane Delco and Luci Nordquist, who have hit Oregon Middle School Meet of Champions qualifying standards, competing against the top middle school athletes and clubs from across the entire state this Friday in Corvallis.

A huge thank you to all of the coaches, volunteers, families, staff, and community members who helped make this season possible. We are incredibly proud of this group.

High School Chemistry Students are starting to use their knowledge of Intramolecular forces to design candy! More to come later this week!
