The South Wasco County School District warmly invites all students, parents, families and community members to their two upcoming Back to School Night events. These are great opportunities to learn about the great things going on in our schools and ask any questions you may have.
The Maupin Grade School will host their Back to School Night event on Thursday September 10th, beginning at 5pm and the South Wasco County High School and Middle School event will be held in the high school on Thursday September 17th, also beginning at 5pm. Dessert will be provided by the Maupin Area Chamber of Commerce! THANK YOU!

We are looking for a coach for our Middle School Football Team for the 2026 Football Season. We need to have a coach in place by Tuesday, September 8th. We want to be able to provide the opportunity to have a MS Football Season this fall, but if we are unable to find a coach by this date, we will unfortunately have to cancel the MS Football Season and will need to look at other possible opportunities for students. 2026-27 SWC School Year Online Registration is now open! Please go to the PowerSchool Portal button on our webpage at swasco.net to log on as you did last year. Your Username and Password stay the same (if you cannot remember your password, you can reset it). August 24th is the deadline for online registration to be completed. If at any time while you are filling out the forms there are errors, just click on the form tab to the left of the screen and go back to the form you still need to fill out. Thank you!

School Board Meeting Canceled Tonight
Due to the ongoing wildfire and out of concern for the safety of our staff, families, and community, tonight's School Board meeting has been canceled.
We appreciate your understanding as we prioritize everyone's safety during this time. The July School Board meeting will be rescheduled to next Wednesday, July 22nd at 6 p.m.
