A few weeks ago, SWCSD and the Deschutes River Athletic Complex hosted a coaching clinic led by Harry Marra. It was a memorable and important weekend for all.
Two of our teachers gained the unique experience of continuing to work with NASA on the Lucy Project. Mr. Sowell and Mr. Henson are “Searching for Shaun," which is with the Trojan asteroid Polymele. They are excited to share their experiences with students.

Congratulations, Middle School Stem & Robotics!! The Flying Dutchman ranked 7th at Regionals, making it to the final round. The Mavericks ranked 12th and the Masterminds ranked 16th! We are so proud! Great job students and Ms. Krista! What a huge accomplishment!

Congrats to our Lady Redsides on coming in 1st place at the 1A-6 Big Sky District Tourney at Kurtz Gym in The Dalles on Sat Feb 17th! The Lady Redsides will now play in their State Round 1 playoff game by hosting Crosshill Christian Eagles this Wed February 21st at 5:00pm here in Maupin. SWCSD has decided to move the School Board Meeting next week from Wed Feb 21st to Thurs Feb 22nd to avoid a possible conflict with the State playoff basketball game on Wednesday.

Congrats to our Lady Redsides for their 51-30 win over the Sherman Huskies tonight on Valentine's Day! They will now play in their next District playoff game on Friday Feb 16th against Ione/Arlington at Arlington at 6pm and then play in the final District playoff games on Sat Feb 17th at The Dalles High School.
SWCSD will have a NO SCHOOL snow day tomorrow Thurs, 2/15/24. It will be a digital/packet work day for students, so please check your email/Google classroom for your assignments. Just a reminder, there is no school on Friday 2/16/24 or Mon 2/19/24.
Our Lady Redsides basketball team will play a District Crossover HOME game tonight, Wed February 14th, against the Sherman Huskies at 6:00pm. Come & cheer them on to a win! This is a Big Sky event so everyone pays to get in and watch the game: $8/Adults and $5/Students.
