SWCSD is cancelling school today, Monday April 11th due to a surprise snow accumulation across Oregon!
Our Redside OBOB team made it to the Final 4 against Franklin, and after another close battle we lost by 1 question. What an awesome group, way to represent our school! Go Redsides!

The high school roof work is coming to a close as the roof flashing and drains are now being replaced. Here is a picture of the gym roof, trust me when I say this is a huge improvement! :)

Yesterday, Beynon Sports Surfaces, literally hit the ground at a sprint as they began work on the track poly surface. We ask that the community keep off the track area during this work so the company does not need to make costly repairs. Thank you for your cooperation! :)
Bremik Construction/McDonald/Wetle Roofing started roof replacement work over spring break and will finish up in mid-April. I am very happy to report that we will no longer have a periodic water feature from the ceiling at center court of the gym! 25 year warrantee as well! :)

Welcome Home our STEAM Robotics Team! At 9pm tonight at Tygh Valley Store, we are gathering to applaud the kids coming home from State. They have been out there working hard and competing with schools of all sizes, finishing in the top 10% of the 372 Oregon teams. GO BIG GREEN!

SWC cogNation #5686 is competing in the FTC State Championships TODAY! Matches begin at 8:45. We are match numbers: 9(blue), 15(red), 25(blue), 35(blue), and 40(red). Look for 5686 as that is our Robot.
More bond info. Ground work for the new kitchen/cafe/gym will begin right after school is out for the year. We now have an estimated date for the building kit to arrive, which is Sept. 2nd. :)

Our Redside Boys just won their semifinal basketball game against North Powder and will play in the State Championship game tomorrow night against Crane at 6:30pm at Baker! If you cannot watch in person, come watch the game live at the HS Gym! Everyone is welcome! GO BIG GREEN!
The Middle School Student Council’s Community Cleanup Day went well yesterday. We were able to clean up several areas around the school and town.
SWC Redside Boys Basketball team will play Powder Valley in the State 1A Boys Basketball Semifinal game on Friday, March 4th at 3:15pm. We will have the school cafeteria open again to watch the game live, just bring your own chair and come cheer on our Redside Boys!
