Students got to head to the Celilo converter station tour and experience. This is where the Los Angeles area gets 40% of its electricity from. One direct shot from the Dalles, Oregon all the way down to central California. Students got to see the DC converters, cooling and conditioning center.

On April 7th, a group of seniors went with Ms. Malefyt to the NECA/IBEW Electrical Apprenticeship Training Center in Portland and then toured Mt Hood Community College's automotive, welding, machining and mechatronics programs.

SWCSD would like you to know that there will NOT be any activity bus routes running this Friday April 18th. Students who ride the bus will need to leave when early release school ends on Friday April 18th at 1:18pm and not stay after school.
