SWCSD is hosting a PK-5th Grade STEM night event this Thursday April 10th from 5-7pm in the Old Grade School Gym. Everyone is welcome but this STEM night is focused on PK-5th gr students. Hope to see you all there!

The middle school home track meet was yesterday, and our Redsides did a great job!

SWCSD would like you to know that After School Program (ASP) today Thurs April 3rd is cancelled.
Our very own Middle School OBOB "Lemondrops" team battled hard at Regionals on March 10th in Bend. The Lemondrops ended up making it to the bracket part of the competition and placed 5th overall. This 2 person team fought hard against other 4-5 person teams . We are super proud of our Lemondrops!
On Wednesday, 30 sophomores, juniors and seniors attended the NW Youth Careers Expo at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland. Over 75 high schools and over 6,000 students visited over 200 exhibitors.

Prom Court was announced this morning! We are missing Macy and Coy, but congratulations to all who were named as this year's prom court.

The High School "Spring Fling" Lip Sync Music Performance is tonight 3/20 at 6:30pm in the High School gym. Come support our High School student body and watch them perform and cheer them on!
The International Thespian Society invites any friends, family, or patrons to our second annual ITS Induction Gala. Please join us as we showcase a student-directed short play, a few monologues, and celebrate the hard-earned accomplishments of many of our members.

Staff joined students today for a talent show showcasing amazing talents from 4th-8th grade. Great job today, everyone!



SWCSD would like to let you know that the Mobile Health Clinic visit to Maupin for this Thurs March 20 is cancelled. If there are any medical needs, please feel free to contact the MMU at 541-386-4553. They will plan on seeing us again as scheduled on Thurs April 10.

Students in Ms. Knight's WR122 course brainstorm topics and connections using hexagonal thinking.

Students enjoyed Friday Fun days of gaming and then making cardboard cars with Mrs. Carter and Mr. Henson as a fun STEM challenge. They raised to the challenge of trying to build the fastest car using only cardboard and a few other provided supplies.







Our small-but-mighty middle school OBOB team made it to the round of 8 at regionals today. Way to go, Lemon Drops!
